In recent years, the role of universities in shaping a more inclusive, innovative, and resilient Europe has become increasingly central. Research is no longer confined to academic boundaries—it drives transformation, fosters collaboration, and addresses global challenges. Within this framework, the University of Salerno (UNISA) has been steadily strengthening its position as a proactive and trusted partner in European research and innovation.
From 2021 to 2025, UNISA has participated in 47 EU-funded projects, under Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ programmes, covering fields as diverse as digital transition, democratic governance, education, sustainability, and cultural heritage. This engagement is not only a measure of academic excellence, but also a reflection of the university’s ongoing commitment to transnational cooperation and societal impact.
