Student mobility remains an important part of the University of Nicosia’s (UNIC) efforts to promote academic internationalization and cross-cultural exchange. In the 2023–2024 academic year, the university continued to support both incoming and outgoing student mobility, with participation across a variety of academic disciplines and partner institutions.
Incoming Student Mobility
In 2023–2024, UNIC welcomed 257 international students from 31 different countries, reaffirming its role as a dynamic hub within the European Higher Education Area. Of these, 233 were enrolled in bachelor-level programmes.

A total of 70 students from the University of Nicosia participated in mobility abroad during the 2023–2024 academic year. Among them, 48 were Bachelor students, 21 were Master’s students, and 1 was a PhD student.

Although the number of outgoing students is smaller than incoming, the steady participation shows continued interest in academic exchange. There remains potential to expand these opportunities to include more research and internship-based mobility in future years.
